Boogie gets a Swedish Olympic Hat!

I'm back home again after my wonderful weekend away.  Whilst I was in Sweden I got to hear about a most amazing story.  The OS-mössa, or Swedish Olympic hat.  Some of the Swedish athletes at the Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver have been wearing hand crocheted hats.  A website published the pattern and ever since then there has been a mass of crocheting around the country.  There has never been such crocheting, all the shelves are empty of the special yellow and blue yarn!  My family managed to get hold of enough yarn to make some hats before the whole world ran out and I'm very proud to wear my OS-mössa, especially as Sweden won gold in the ladies curling last night!  Heja Sverige.  Tee hee!
