Mini-Sven at Kilimanjaro Part 2
Posted August 25th, 2010 by mini-sven
We made it to the top of Kilimanjaro. It's a really amazing mountain, it's the worlds largest freestanding mountain, at 5893 meters above sea level. The top of it is called the Uhuru Peak and it's a really, really long way up! There are three dormant volcanos up here which do give out gas sometimes, so it's a little scary. But after the walk I was too tired to worry about those! I finally caught up with Treacle, we met at the top and had our pictures taken together. It was good to see a familiar friend. Now let's see if I can keep him out of trouble!
lots of love
