Daisy at the Black Gate

2002009I recommend a train journey if you want to visit the oldest town of Germany. The beautiful views of the Mosel valley and the steep vineyards (producing the best Riesling in the world if you ask me) are not to be missed.

I went for a leisurely Sunday stroll to the Porta Nigra - nice backdrop for my velvety red rose, don't you think? Trier is full of old buildings from Roman times - shame those baths no longer work. Would be rather splendid to spend an afternoon there....
