Boogie Plays the Organ
2001877
... and what happens on a snowy day when Boogie is a bit boredToday I played an organ.
It is a sort of church organ - but it wasn't in a church - so I guess it is a practice church organ.
The problem with organs is that they are ABSOLUTELY ENORMOUS and there is SO MUCH to do at the same time. This organ has two keyboards (called Manuals), a foot-keyboard (called pedals) and lots and lots of buttons that make different sounds (called Stops). I don't know how church organists manage to do all of the jobs at once!
I was going to sort out one photo for you seeing me play the organ - but it was so big I didn't know where to sit. So then we came up with a plan. Using Photoshop, we managed to take lots of pictures of me playing different bits of the organ (and reading the music) and then stick them all together so it looked as though I was doing all the jobs at once. Now I've had a look - I think this is how many little bears you would need to make the organ work.
I'm glad that this was a modern electric organ. The old organs had pipes that were driven by bellows and I don't think a bear my size could manage that!
I had sooooo much fun playing this. But it is a good thing that you couldn't hear the noise I made. It was very loud!
That's all for now.
Lots of cuddles
