Information and tips for parents
Why Join? Because it’s FUN, that’s why!
The whole point of this site is to have some clean, honest fun. For parents (and teachers) it’s a great way to help your kids discover the world in which we live. For kids it’s a cool and non-boring approach to learning about other people and other cultures. The site has been designed and built by Michael and Richard – parents themselves – who wanted to share the fun they were having with this project with others. You can find out more about what “Where’s My Teddy?” is and how it works here. Want to see how it’s done? Check out our Teddy of the Day.
Types of Adventure
When you embark on a “Where’s My Teddy?” adventure, you can choose between different types of adventure depending on how, well, adventurous you feel. You could for example start by having a bear that just travels around with you (a private adventure, very low risk), advancing to having a bear for your class, family and friends (a bit more risky, but bear gets to meet more people) to starting a “wild” adventure (your bear could meet literally anyone). You can read more about different types of adventure here.

Your Child’s Safety Online
Safety is on of our key values. However we always recommend that children under the age of thirteen are always accompanied by a parent, teacher or guardian whist visiting this site. Rest assured that there are no forums or direct means for members to contact or chat to each other on this site. Nor do we encourage users to post personal details, including email addresses, by which they could be contacted by other means.
Report and Remove Policy
Due to the sheer number of posts on the site, we operate a report and remove policy. That means if you spot something you think is offensive or unpleasant, you can report to us and we’ll remove it ASAP, along with the offending user’s membership!
Safety Online - Photos
If you do not want to upload pictures of your children, that’s fine. You can always take pictures that only feature the bear instead.
