Keeping it Clean

Whenever we travel by air (which is not very often) we use the carbon calculator at www.climatecare.org to work out how much we need to pay in carbon tax in order to offset our emissions. We´re still far from perfect, but we are also working towards making the rest of our business as carbon neutral as possible. Where we can we use recycled products and we use as little packaging as possible.

Sharing the Money

It is part of our philosophy that as a minimum we will donate at least 2% of our profits to children's charities, that's why we have entered into a partnership with Save the Children. We want to leave the world at least as good as we found it, if not better!

Learning and Having Fun

We don't do Where's My Teddy to simply pay the bills - we do it becuase it's fun! And we hope that you'll have the same fun using this site as we do running it. For parents and teachers, Where's My Teddy is a great way to help your kids discover more about the world in which we live. For kids it's a cool and non-boring approach to learning about other people and other cultures.

Playing Safe

Your safety and the safety of your children is of paramount importance to us. That's why we don't display any of your personal inofmration on this site, or encourage people to do this when writing stories about their bears. When zooming in on google maps to highlight where you live, or where you've been, we don't allow you to zoom all the way down to the actual street address. We monitor the site constantly and remove and ban users uploading inappropriate content. We also provide a report a concern option at the bottom of each post so that you can highlight anything to us that we may have missed. All the same, we advise all parents, guardians and teachers to monitor what children are looking at whilst online.
