It's great to be home
Posted October 26th, 2008 by KqorthThe trip was a blast but I'm glad to be home at Kathy's house. This travling sure makes me tired. I'm off to see Annika, Sawyer and Ava again..............can't wait to see what they have planned for me.

George Washington's home
Posted October 26th, 2008 by KqorthWe were a hugh group visiting where George Washington lived. I was able to stand next to a statue of him riding his horse into battle. That's Kathy, Austin and Mr. Harbecke with me. The 2 girls holding me in front of his house are Raven and Maggie.........they were nice girls.
In the nation's capitol
Posted October 26th, 2008 by KqorthThere are alot of cool sights to see and beautiful buildings. They have many statues to honor famous men in history. I got to sit on Franklin Roosevelt's lap and stand next to Abraham Lincoln. The Capitol building is huge...........look how little I look.

Well..............I'm back at Kathy's house and getting ready to get tucked into bed. What a busy day............I had lots of fun! Kathy says because I was such a good boy today, I can go with her to Washington D.C. when she goes in 2 weeks. I can't wait.............maybe I'll get to meet the President. I'll let you know................
Time for bed..........talk to you soon.
Happy Joe's
Posted September 28th, 2008 by KqorthI finally get to eat some dinner!! I had pepperoni pizza and pop. It tasted so good after a long day of traveling. I took a picture of some of my new best friends.........they were really nice to me. I just met them today and I think Kathy has some nice students.
Another State.......Wisconsin
Posted September 28th, 2008 by KqorthI'm now in Platteville, WI. I got to see an old coal mine! First Kathy/ Auntie Q made sure my helmet fit me right and then we headed down 90 steps to get into the mine. Once down there I could see how the miners did their jobs. It sure was dark down there and I'm glad I had Q helping me out. We then climbed the 90 stairs up, actually Q did and she carried me. Then some of her students took me on the train that the coal miners would ride and I also got to ring the bell saying I had a load of coal ready to be pulled up. I'm starting to get hungry and Q just said........."We are heading for dinner now" YIPPEE!!
Visiting Iowa
Posted September 28th, 2008 by KqorthNow I get to see some special places in the state of Iowa. We drove over this really big bridge to get over the Missippi River and we are now in the city of Dubuque, Iowa. Here I got to see how a blacksmith heats up steel and pounds it out into cool shapes. We then went to Crystal Lake Cave where we went underground in a cave to see really neat formations of crystals and stuff. On our last stop here we rode up a cable car up the side of this really big hill and I could see three states; Illinois, Iowa and Wisconsin. From here it's back on the bus.
Visiting Grant's Home
Posted September 28th, 2008 by KqorthToday is the day of my trip out to Galena with Kathy and some of her students. Our first stop was to see President's Grant home. He was the United States 18th president and a Civil War General. Here I am sitting outside his house and in the next picture I'm sitting in the parlor where he and his wife would sit in the evening. This place was nice to see.
At Q's House
Posted September 27th, 2008 by Kqorth
I just got to Aunt Q's house and she has 4 dogs here...........hope they all ate dinner tonight. They all seem very nice and all they wanted to do was just sniff me for a few minutes. I have to get to bed early tonight because I have to get up at 5 a.m. to go with Kathy (Aunt Q) on a school trip to Galena. I know I will have lots of fun. I will tell you all about it soon.
Nighty night............
At Home with the Sevciks
Posted September 24th, 2008 by BoozieWow! I'm now settled in Crystal Lake, Illinois. Henrik's cousin Karin lives here with her husband Scott and their three children, Annika, Sawyer and Ava. They welcomed me with big hugs and kisses! I have to say, I'm a bit worried about their big, furry dog, though. See him in the picture?! He's definitely friendly and nice. But look at those teeth! I've been told I'll get to hang out with the other 200 hundred stuff animals this family has!!
I'll be here for a bit, and then I'll get to meet Aunt Kathy. She is Karin's sister. (For whatever reason, the children call her "Auntie Q".) I'll be joining Auntie Q for a trip next week and then I'll be back. The leaves are beginning to change colors here in Crystal Lake, so I'm enjoying my surroundings.

Posted July 21st, 2008 by Us
Alright, I was hoping so see some cool stuff here in Utah and now its happening! While other is riding rodeo I’m riding Henrik’s back pack, pretty convenient. During a weekend in July I (Björnis) and Henrik hiked from Mirror Lake to Blue Lake. Do you see the hunk riding the back pack?
Yahoo, here I am at Blue Lake (3339 m) with the most beautiful view over Uinta Wilderness, where you can find some of my cousins, the black bears. Henrik was impressed by the view I can tell you!
