 Here I am in the new caravan on a beautiful cl site in Derbyshire near Hartington. We had a lovely time walking on the High Peak and Tissington Trails

Steering in the rain - I didn't have my rain coat so had to be very quick

Our boat was very long - I even had a go at steering - with a few mishaps on the way

Here I am posing over the Aquaduct on my way to Whitchurch, it's a very long way down and no barriers, lucky it wasn't windy

I decided to sunbathe before I start exploring. We are going to Coughton Court today, a very nice old country house that was built in the 1400's.

Here I am just unpacking my stuff after arriving in Bidford on Avon, just down the road from Stratford on Avon - home of the famous bard William Shakespeare. It is a beautiful site right by the side of the river Avon.

I was allowed to steer the boat on our fishing trip - you should see the one that got away.

Here I am on the lakeside cooking bacon and egg (better than marmalade sandwiches).

Later that day I enjoyed a glass of wine (or two).

   Here I am back home in Oakerthorpe after my adventures in the Maldives, celebrating Christmas with all my friends.

   It is Jumbo's birthday today, he thinks he is 20 years old but he can't remember.

   They say elephants never forget but Jumbo has a bad memory.

This is me arriving for my business trip with my friend Dale. This is my first time in Prague and I'm really excited Dale is a regular traveller to this part of the world and says it's beautiful.

I can see now why Dales likes it here, Wencelas Square in Prague and the buildings that surround it are some of the best I've seen, can't wait for my return trip.

Boris has flown back from Italy to attend the teddy bears conference in Forest Town nr.Mansfield.

Alma, as the head bear has made him especially welcome!

I have come over with my friend Judy and her family to the wedding of Enrica and Marco at the Grand Hotel Bristol in Stresa,Lake Maggiore.

This is my first wedding so I am really looking forward to it!
